I recently saw a movie at the Cincinnati Museum Center called ‘Hubble.’ I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, you can read more about it here.
The gist of the movie is N.A.S.A. spent 10 years developing a giant space telescope capable of viewing constellations and planets in a clarity previously never thought possible. It’s a pretty profounding experience seeing all the planets, constellations, and Earth from a distance – not to mention on a 5-story, 72-foot-diameter domed screen.
Once you see the grandious level of our universe, and how microscopic our planet is in the grand scheme of things, you can’t help but put things in perspective; prioritizing what really is important in life and what isn’t. I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.
